The venue
The congress will be held in the Novotel Budapest Congress, (H-1123, Jagelló utca 1-3, Budapest, Hungary) between August 28-31, 2011.
Registration will be in the foyer of the Novotel Budapest Congress, at the main entrance.
To reach the Novotel Budapest Congress in Budapest:
- take the Underground (Metro) red line M2 to Moszkva tér station and from there take the tram line 61 to BAH csomópont station.
- by bus No. 8, 40, 112, 139, 212.

Official language
The official language of the congress is English. We provide simultaneous translation in the Plenary hall and the Section Room (Bartók Room).

Credit point
The accreditaion of the Congress is accepted.

Budapest sightseeing tour

A three-hour sightseeing tour introducing the capital’s most attractive features. The tour includes among others: Heroes’ Square with the Millennium Monument, and Gellért Hill, which offers a breathtaking panorama of the city.

For hotel reservation please fill the proper part of the Registration Form and send one night’s deposit. The Organising Committee deals with reservations and deposits on a „first come – first served” basis. Remittance of hotel deposit should be made along with registration fee.

On having received your registration form and the bank draft of your remittance your registration and hotel reservation will be confirmed.


Method of cancellation
Should participants or accompanying persons cancel the registration, hotel reservation and optional programs before the 15 July 2011, fees will be returned fully, less 10% handling fee. 
No refund available for registration, hotel deposit and optional programs after the July 15 2011.
Only written cancellation will be accepted!



Budapest, a city of 2 million people stands for a lot more than being the capital of Hungary. It is a grand icon of the past and a modern metropolis. You can discover influences from Roman times, from Turkish domination in the 16th and 17th centuries, and from the days of Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. You are encouraged to visit one of the thermal spring baths, and any of the restaurants with famous Hungarian cuisine. Travel tips
On arrival by air to Ferihegy Airport-Budapest, it is advisable to use the Airport Minibus Service, which takes you anywhere in town for a set price of approx.. 10 Euros/person. Check out the following website:
On arrival by train you can take a taxi from the railway station, unfortunately the prices are not set. Advisable to use reliable taxi companies, such as: TELE5 Taxi, City taxi, Főtaxi, Zóna taxi.


Public transport in Budapest
Budapest has an extensive public transport system, which ensures access to all parts of the city by metro, bus, tram, trolley bus. Tickets are sold at every metro station and bus terminals. The cost of the ticket is HUF 320,- and is valid for a single trip on all of the above mentioned inner city public transports. Passes for 1-day, 7-days, 14-days and 30-days are also available.

Notice for drivers
The maximum speed limit on national speedways are 130km/h, .on general motorways vary between 80 -50 km/h respectively. During driving the use of headlights are compulsory on all roads. Drinking while driving is prohibited in Hungary (zero tolerance).
Passport and visa:
All foreign visitors traveling to Hungary should hold a valid passport and visa, except for citizens of most European countries. Please check the visa regulations before you make travel arrangements. Visa can be granted by Hungarian Embassies and Consulates in the capital cities of your respected country.


Participants should arrange health and travel insurance prior on arrival to Hungary. The registration fee does not include insurance against personal accidents, sickness and theft or property damages. This applies to all events during the Conference.


Currency, exchange and credit cards
In Hungary the official currency is the Hungarian Forint (HUF). Exchange facilities are offered to participants at the airport, in hotels and at the site of the Conference. Visa and MasterCard are accepted in all hotels, restaurants and city stores.


Hungary has a continental climate. Weather is really hot in August with temperatures ranging between 25-30°C.
